Websites for electricians.
A website for your electrical business that gets you the callout — certificates, service areas and your number, all up front.
We design your homepage first. You only pay if you want to go ahead.
What actually matters here.
Most electrical enquiries come from someone who needs a Certificate of Compliance in a hurry or has just lost power. Your site should answer their two questions immediately: do you cover me, and can I call you now.
- COC and compliance work explained in one plain paragraph
- Your registration details, visible — it is the trust signal that matters
- Service areas listed, so people self-qualify before they call
- Tap-to-call and WhatsApp on every screen
- Photos of completed installations, boards and solar work
- A simple enquiry form for the jobs that are not urgent
How your customers actually find you.
Electrical work splits into two searches and they behave completely differently. One is somebody who has lost power and wants a number now. The other is a Certificate of Compliance, usually because a property is being sold and there is a date attached — that person is calmer, comparing, and searching for the certificate by name. Most electricians' sites are built only for the first and quietly lose the second.
The pages a electrician's site needs.
Not a template — this is the shape we would actually recommend, and why each page earns its place.
What you do, where you work, and a number that is one tap away.
Installations, repairs, boards, solar, standby power — in the words a customer would use, not the ones on an invoice.
This deserves its own page. A search for a COC certificate plus a town carries high intent and a deadline behind it, and a bullet point on a services page will not rank for it.
So people self-qualify before they phone, and so you stop fielding call-outs two hours away.
Tap-to-call, WhatsApp and a form for the jobs that are not urgent.

What goes wrong on most electricians' sites.
Said plainly, because these are the faults we are asked to fix most often — and if your current site has them, that is the redesign conversation rather than a new build.
- Burying COC work in a list, when it is the most valuable and most searchable thing on the site.
- No registration details anywhere. For electrical work that is the trust signal that matters most, and it costs nothing to show.
- Service areas left vague, which turns into wasted travel and wasted calls.
- A form as the only way to reach you, on a site that half its visitors open because the power is off.

Things people ask us.
Should the Certificate of Compliance work have its own page?
Yes. It is a distinct search with distinct intent — someone selling a house who needs a certificate before transfer, often against a date. A dedicated page that explains what a COC is, what you check, roughly what it costs and how quickly you can come out will pick up traffic that a bullet on a services page never will.
Do I have to show my registration number?
You do not have to, but you should. A visitor deciding between three electricians has no way to tell who is registered and who is not, and the one who shows it wins by default. We will put it in the footer of every page so it is always visible without being shouted.
I also do solar and inverters. Same site or a different one?
Same site, its own page. Solar and backup power are searched for separately and by a customer in a different frame of mind — planning rather than reacting — so it earns a page. It does not earn a second website, and running two would split your effort and your search presence for no gain.
Do I have to pay before I see anything?
No. We design your homepage first and show it to you in a browser. If you do not like it, you owe us nothing. Only once you are happy do we agree a start date and take the first payment.
How much does a website for a electrician cost?
One monthly price and no build fee: R 399, R 599 or R 899 a month, including the design, hosting and changes, or the year in one go with two months free. For most electricians we recommend the Grow plan (R 599), because it answers every enquiry for you. Full SEO is an extra from R 3 500 a month. You see your homepage before you pay.
I already have a site but it does nothing for me.
That is the most common call we get, and AI-built sites are a growing share of it. Run the free website check on our homepage to see exactly what is wrong; most sites have the same three faults: slow, painful on a phone, and never telling the visitor what to do next. We tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or just repairing, with a fixed quote.
Do I need to write all the content myself?
No. Give us the rough facts — what you do, where you work, what you charge — and we will shape it into something that reads well and sells. You approve every word before it goes live.
What happens after the site is live?
We host it, keep it patched and backed up, and make small changes as your business changes. That is the "care" part, included in every plan. You are never left holding a website you cannot edit and cannot reach anybody about.
Let's build yours.
Tell us what you need — a new site, a refresh, or just a question about what it would cost. We reply within a day, usually sooner.
Whichever you and your customers prefer.
