Websites for landscapers & garden services

Websites for landscapers.

A website for your garden business that separates the once-off makeovers from the monthly maintenance, and books both.

We design your homepage first. You only pay if you want to go ahead.

What actually matters here.

Garden work is really two businesses on one van. One is a design-and-build project somebody has been thinking about for a year. The other is a monthly service they want sorted this week. They are different customers, they search differently, and a site that blurs them wins neither.

  • Before-and-after photographs, which sell a garden better than words ever will
  • Maintenance packages with a monthly price, stated plainly
  • The suburbs you service, because your round has a shape
  • Irrigation, paving, decks and trees named separately if you do them
  • A quote form that asks for a photograph and the erf size
  • Something honest about water-wise and indigenous planting
Before they call you

How your customers actually find you.

Two very different people find you. One has just moved into a house with a garden that has got away from them and wants somebody to come every second Tuesday — that is a fast, local, price-led decision and they will take the first outfit that services their suburb and publishes a monthly figure. The other has been staring at a bare patch for a year, is collecting ideas, and is choosing entirely on the photographs of gardens you have already made. Same van, two completely different pages, and most garden sites only build one of them.

What we would build

The pages a landscaper's site needs.

Not a template — this is the shape we would actually recommend, and why each page earns its place.

Home

What you do, where you do it, and one photograph of a garden good enough to make somebody want theirs sorted.

Garden maintenance

The regular round, with what is included and a monthly price or from-price. This page pays your salaries and it is usually the thinnest page on the site.

Landscaping and design

The project work, told through finished gardens. A different customer with a different budget, so it earns its own page.

Before and after

The most persuasive page you will ever have. A tidy pair of photographs from the same angle is worth a page of copy.

Areas we service

Your round has a geography. Publishing it fills the gaps in your existing routes instead of scattering you across town.

Get a quote

A form that asks for a photograph of the garden and roughly how big the property is, so you can answer without driving out first.

Start smaller and add pages later if you would rather. See plans and what they are worth to you, or check your current site free.

Worth avoiding

What goes wrong on most landscapers' sites.

Said plainly, because these are the faults we are asked to fix most often — and if your current site has them, that is the redesign conversation rather than a new build.

  • Maintenance and landscaping mashed into one page, so the person who wanted a fortnightly service cannot tell whether you do that at all.
  • No monthly price for maintenance. It is the most price-sensitive, most compared thing you sell, and silence sends people to the outfit that published a number.
  • Photographs taken from a different spot before and after, so nobody can actually see the change.
  • No service areas, which is how you end up quoting jobs forty minutes off your round.

Good questions

Things people ask us.

Should I publish a monthly maintenance price?

Yes, as a from-price tied to something visible like property size. Regular garden service is the most compared thing you offer and people expect a number. Publishing one puts you on the shortlist; leaving it out means they phone the two who did and never get to you.

Is before-and-after really worth the trouble?

It is the single highest-return habit in this trade. Take one photograph from a fixed spot before you start and the same shot when you finish, every job. Within a few months you have a page no competitor can copy, and it converts better than anything we could write.

Should I mention water-wise or indigenous planting?

If you genuinely do it, yes. South Africans have had enough water restrictions to make it a real deciding factor, and it is one of the few things a garden site can say that is both useful and specific. Do not claim it if it is not how you work — a client will notice on the first plant list.

Do I have to pay before I see anything?

No. We design your homepage first and show it to you in a browser. If you do not like it, you owe us nothing. Only once you are happy do we agree a start date and take the first payment.

How much does a website for a landscaper cost?

One monthly price and no build fee: R 399, R 599 or R 899 a month, including the design, hosting and changes, or the year in one go with two months free. For most landscapers we recommend the Grow plan (R 599), because it answers every enquiry for you. Full SEO is an extra from R 3 500 a month. You see your homepage before you pay.

I already have a site but it does nothing for me.

That is the most common call we get, and AI-built sites are a growing share of it. Run the free website check on our homepage to see exactly what is wrong; most sites have the same three faults: slow, painful on a phone, and never telling the visitor what to do next. We tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or just repairing, with a fixed quote.

Do I need to write all the content myself?

No. Give us the rough facts — what you do, where you work, what you charge — and we will shape it into something that reads well and sells. You approve every word before it goes live.

What happens after the site is live?

We host it, keep it patched and backed up, and make small changes as your business changes. That is the "care" part, included in every plan. You are never left holding a website you cannot edit and cannot reach anybody about.
