Websites for mechanics & auto repair

Websites for mechanics.

A website for your workshop that gets the booking — what you service, what it costs, and whether the warranty stays intact.

We design your homepage first. You only pay if you want to go ahead.

What actually matters here.

Most people distrust workshops by default, usually because of one bad experience years ago. Your site is not selling spanners. It is selling the belief that you will explain the problem, quote before you start, and not invent work.

  • The makes you service, named, so people can see themselves on the page
  • A clear line on independent servicing and vehicle warranties
  • Service prices or from-prices for the common jobs
  • A booking form that captures the car, the year and the symptom
  • Where you are, with parking and whether there is a courtesy lift
  • Your qualifications, equipment and any franchise or RMI standing
Before they call you

How your customers actually find you.

People search for a mechanic in two moods. The first is a car that will not start or is making a noise, and that search happens on a phone from the side of a road — they want a number, a location and whether you can look at it today. The second is a service falling due, and that person is deliberately looking for an independent workshop because the dealer quoted something absurd. That second search almost always includes a worry about the warranty, and the workshop that answers it plainly on the page wins the booking before anyone picks up a phone.

What we would build

The pages a mechanic's site needs.

Not a template — this is the shape we would actually recommend, and why each page earns its place.

Home

What you service, where you are, and a way to book today. A number that works with one tap, because half your visitors are standing next to a car that will not start.

Services and prices

Major and minor services, brakes, clutch, diagnostics, aircon — with from-prices. Somebody comparing you to a dealer is comparing on a number, and you usually win that comparison if you let them see it.

Makes we service

Naming the marques you know does real work. Owners search by make, and a page that names theirs beats a generic workshop every time.

Your warranty and independent servicing

The question behind most service searches. Answer it plainly and you will pick up bookings from people who assumed they were stuck with the dealer.

Book your car in

A form that asks for the make, the year, the mileage and what it is doing, so you can quote instead of guessing.

Find us

A map, parking, whether they can wait, and whether you can drop them somewhere. Small things, but they decide bookings.

Start smaller and add pages later if you would rather. See plans and what they are worth to you, or check your current site free.

Worth avoiding

What goes wrong on most mechanics' sites.

Said plainly, because these are the faults we are asked to fix most often — and if your current site has them, that is the redesign conversation rather than a new build.

  • No prices at all, on the one purchase where a customer has usually just had a fright from a dealer quote and is actively shopping on number.
  • Nothing about warranties, leaving the biggest objection in the trade entirely unanswered.
  • A page of stock photographs of engines with no sign of your actual workshop, your bays or your people.
  • A booking form that asks for a name and a message and nothing about the car, guaranteeing three emails before you can help.

Good questions

Things people ask us.

Should I say something about vehicle warranties?

Yes, and give it its own page. Plenty of owners still believe servicing anywhere but the dealer voids their warranty, and a plain, accurate paragraph about how independent servicing works — correct parts, correct schedule, records kept — converts a surprising number of them. Keep it factual and current rather than promising anything you cannot back.

Do I have to publish service prices?

From-prices for the common jobs are enough, and they help you more than they cost you. The customer comparing you to a dealership is comparing on a figure they have already been given. If yours is nowhere on the site they cannot make the comparison, so they phone the workshop that let them.

Is it worth listing every make I work on?

List the ones you genuinely know well rather than all of them. Owners search by make, and a page that names their car reads as expertise. Claiming every marque on earth reads as a workshop that specialises in nothing.

Do I have to pay before I see anything?

No. We design your homepage first and show it to you in a browser. If you do not like it, you owe us nothing. Only once you are happy do we agree a start date and take the first payment.

How much does a website for a mechanic cost?

One monthly price and no build fee: R 399, R 599 or R 899 a month, including the design, hosting and changes, or the year in one go with two months free. For most mechanics we recommend the Grow plan (R 599), because it answers every enquiry for you. Full SEO is an extra from R 3 500 a month. You see your homepage before you pay.

I already have a site but it does nothing for me.

That is the most common call we get, and AI-built sites are a growing share of it. Run the free website check on our homepage to see exactly what is wrong; most sites have the same three faults: slow, painful on a phone, and never telling the visitor what to do next. We tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or just repairing, with a fixed quote.

Do I need to write all the content myself?

No. Give us the rough facts — what you do, where you work, what you charge — and we will shape it into something that reads well and sells. You approve every word before it goes live.

What happens after the site is live?

We host it, keep it patched and backed up, and make small changes as your business changes. That is the "care" part, included in every plan. You are never left holding a website you cannot edit and cannot reach anybody about.
