Websites for photographers.
A photography website that loads fast and lets the work do the talking — galleries, packages and an easy enquiry.
We design your homepage first. You only pay if you want to go ahead.
What actually matters here.
Photography sites fail in one of two ways: they are beautiful and take nine seconds to load, or they load fast and look like a template. Getting both at once is the entire craft, and it is what we do.
- Galleries that stay sharp but load quickly
- Packages and starting prices, so you stop fielding tyre-kickers
- An enquiry form that captures the date and the shoot type
- Your process, so clients know what the day looks like
- Testimonials from past couples or clients
- Built to be found for your town plus your speciality
How your customers actually find you.
People search for a photographer by town plus speciality — a wedding photographer in a particular town, a matric dance, a newborn shoot — and they judge you on the first three images before they read a word. If those load slowly you have lost them regardless of how good the work is. Once the images have done their job, the next thing they want is the price, and the shoots you do not want are the ones you can filter out here.
The pages a photographer's site needs.
Not a template — this is the shape we would actually recommend, and why each page earns its place.
Three or four of your strongest images, fast, and what you shoot.
Split by type of shoot. Somebody looking for a wedding photographer does not want to scroll past newborn work to find one.
Starting prices at minimum. This is the page that stops you fielding enquiries from people whose budget is a tenth of your rate.
What the day actually looks like, how long they wait for images, how many they get. Nerves are the real objection.
A form that asks for the date and the type of shoot, because without those you cannot answer anyway.
Start smaller and add pages later if you would rather. See plans and what they are worth to you, or check your current site free.
What goes wrong on most photographers' sites.
Said plainly, because these are the faults we are asked to fix most often — and if your current site has them, that is the redesign conversation rather than a new build.
- Full-resolution images straight from the camera. A beautiful site that takes nine seconds to load is not a beautiful site.
- No prices, which means every enquiry starts with a conversation about money and most of them go nowhere.
- One combined gallery, so every visitor has to wade past work that is not what they came for.
- An enquiry form with no date field, guaranteeing a round of emails before you can even say whether you are free.

Things people ask us.
Will large images make my site slow?
They will if nobody handles it, and that is the most common fault on photographers' sites. We serve images in modern formats at the size they are actually displayed, and load the ones further down the page only as the visitor reaches them. The work looks the same and the page loads in about a second.
Should I show my prices?
Show a starting price at least. Photographers worry it undercuts negotiation, but the practical effect is that enquiries arrive from people who already know roughly what you cost, which turns more of them into bookings and saves you the conversations that were never going to convert.
Can I update my galleries myself?
Yes, if you want that — say so before we start, because it changes how the site is built. Otherwise send us the images and we put them up as part of hosting and care, usually the same day, which most photographers prefer to learning another system.
Do I have to pay before I see anything?
No. We design your homepage first and show it to you in a browser. If you do not like it, you owe us nothing. Only once you are happy do we agree a start date and take the first payment.
How much does a website for a photographer cost?
One monthly price and no build fee: R 399, R 599 or R 899 a month, including the design, hosting and changes, or the year in one go with two months free. For most photographers we recommend the Grow plan (R 599), because it answers every enquiry for you. Full SEO is an extra from R 3 500 a month. You see your homepage before you pay.
I already have a site but it does nothing for me.
That is the most common call we get, and AI-built sites are a growing share of it. Run the free website check on our homepage to see exactly what is wrong; most sites have the same three faults: slow, painful on a phone, and never telling the visitor what to do next. We tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or just repairing, with a fixed quote.
Do I need to write all the content myself?
No. Give us the rough facts — what you do, where you work, what you charge — and we will shape it into something that reads well and sells. You approve every word before it goes live.
What happens after the site is live?
We host it, keep it patched and backed up, and make small changes as your business changes. That is the "care" part, included in every plan. You are never left holding a website you cannot edit and cannot reach anybody about.
Let's build yours.
Tell us what you need — a new site, a refresh, or just a question about what it would cost. We reply within a day, usually sooner.
Whichever you and your customers prefer.
